Idols is without a doubt one of our all-time favourite photo books. This is the first wonderful edition published in 1973. It's a collection of studio portraits of incredible-looking people in New York City. It’s a time capsule to one of the most expressive an uniquely creative times in the city. There are Warhol people, like Taylor Mead and Holly Woodlawn, and members of the San Francisco-based psychedelic drag queen performance troupe the Cockettes. Perfection.
