This beautiful book coincided with an exhibition of the same name held in 1998 at the Anderson Gallery. The show and subsequent book featured incredible works by 23 rarely seen together contemporary artists including Larry Clark, Mike Kelley, Sally Mann, Aura Rosenberg and many more, including the perfect cover image from Inez Van Lamsweede. The show examined how childhood has been transformed by mass media, biotechnology, and cybernetics. Is there a better exhibition book out there than this?
