A very scarce book from Groundbreaking artist Hannah Wilke. Wilke was an American painter, sculptor, photographer, video and performance artist. Wilke's work is known for exploring issues of feminism, sexuality, and femininity, as well as for using her own body in her work.

Wilke documented her mum's battle with breast cancer and her eventual death and would then go on to document her own battle with the disease in her work. Wilke would die of cancer in 1993 after which her work would go on to be hugely celebrated and develop cult feminist appreciation feautired in this posthumous retrospective published in 1998.
